What Happens to My Data After Deletion?

When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information. However, certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, in line with the jurisdictions we operate in.

Data Typically Retained May Include:

  • KYC Documents & Verification Records: Retained for a minimum of 5 years (or longer if required by applicable regulations).

  • Transaction Records: Retained for accounting, tax, and audit purposes, typically for a minimum of 5–7 years depending on jurisdictional requirements.

  • Location, Device & Usage Data: Retained where necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, detection, and research & development purposes. In some cases, this may be retained for up to 7 years.

  • Legal & Regulatory Records: Any data required for ongoing litigation, regulatory inquiries, or unresolved claims or disputes.

When Deletion May Not Be Possible Immediately:
In certain circumstances, we may be unable to delete your account—for example, if there is an outstanding credit balance, an unresolved transaction, or an active dispute or claim. Once the issue preventing deletion is resolved, your account will be deleted as described above.

For full details on how we handle your data, please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions on our website.
